Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 June 2026

In short. paxID helps you prepare for travel, book flights, and stay connected abroad. Entry information is guidance, not immigration advice or a guarantee of entry. Airlines, eSIM networks, payment processors and travel suppliers remain responsible for their own services. Your vault is encrypted with keys only your device can use, and paxID cannot recover it if you lose access.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and paxID LLC (Delaware, USA) (“paxID”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, joining a launch flow, buying a product, or using paxID, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use paxID.

2. What paxID provides

3. Your account and vault

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password secure, and for using paxID only for travellers whose information you are authorised to manage. Vault data is encrypted on your device and backed up to paxID only in encrypted form. If you lose your password and do not have a valid local unlock method, paxID cannot recover the contents of your vault.

4. Entry-requirement information is guidance

We work to keep entry information useful and current, but rules change, data sources can be incomplete, and individual facts can matter. paxID provides information to help you prepare. It is not legal, immigration, medical or travel-agent advice, and it is not a guarantee that you may board, transit, enter, remain in, or leave a country. You remain responsible for checking and meeting the requirements that apply to you. Border, immigration, airline and public-health decisions are made by the relevant authorities or carriers, not by paxID.

5. Optional scans, uploads and forwards

You may choose to scan identity documents, upload screenshots or PDFs, or forward confirmation emails. These tools are optional and may use third-party OCR, parsing, storage or AI providers. You must review extracted details before relying on them. paxID is not responsible for mistakes caused by unclear scans, incomplete documents, incorrect source data, or your approval of incorrect extracted details.

6. Booking flights

When you book a flight through paxID, paxID acts as an online travel agency and facilitates a contract of carriage between you and the airline. The airline's fare rules, conditions of carriage, baggage policies, check-in rules, passenger-name rules, schedule-change policies and operational decisions apply. paxID is not the operating carrier and is not responsible for airline delays, cancellations, denied boarding, schedule changes, baggage handling, seat changes, service quality, or the airline's refusal to carry you, though we will assist where required or commercially reasonable.

7. Prices and extras

Prices are shown before you pay and may include fares, taxes, carrier charges, supplier charges, optional extras and any paxID service fee disclosed at checkout. Airline prices and availability can change until a booking is confirmed. Optional extras, including bags, seats, priority boarding and meals, are subject to airline rules and availability.

8. eSIM and wallet

The paxID eSIM is funded through a prepaid paxID wallet. Wallet value is virtual account credit held with paxID and does not expire. Underlying connectivity providers, network availability, country coverage, price tiers and fair-use terms may change. If a supported country or network materially changes, we will aim to give reasonable advance notice where practical. If we cannot provide the eSIM service or a commercially reasonable substitute for wallet value you have paid for, we may offer a refund or other remedy as described in our Refund Policy. Wallet credit is not a bank account, deposit account, stored-value banking product, or cash equivalent except where required by law.

9. Payments and saved cards

You authorise paxID and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method for flights, eSIM top-ups, wallet funding, service fees and optional extras you choose. If you pay using a card saved in your vault, the app decrypts the card locally on your device, asks you to enter the CVV manually, and sends payment details directly to the payment processor or payment gateway. paxID servers do not receive the unencrypted card number or CVV. Payment processors, banks and card networks may approve, decline, hold, reverse, investigate or refund payments under their own rules.

10. Cancellations, changes and refunds

Refund eligibility is set out in our Refund Policy. In summary, airline tickets are refundable only where the airline's fare rules or applicable law require it. The US airline 24-hour cancellation rule generally applies to airlines and does not require online travel agencies like paxID to offer the same free-cancellation window, unless paxID states that a fare includes one. eSIM wallet and top-up refunds are handled under the eSIM section of the Refund Policy.

11. Acceptable use

Do not misuse paxID. You must not use paxID for fraud, unauthorised access, scraping, reselling, security testing without permission, fake identities, payment abuse, unlawful travel activity, infringement of others' rights, or activity that violates applicable law or supplier rules. We may suspend or close accounts, block transactions, refuse service, or preserve records where reasonably necessary to protect paxID, users, suppliers or legal rights.

12. Third-party services

paxID depends on airlines, payment processors, eSIM providers, document-parsing providers, cloud providers, email providers, government websites, travel-data providers and other third parties. Their terms, privacy notices, service limits and legal duties may apply. paxID is not responsible for third-party websites or services outside our control.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, paxID is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free requirement data, uninterrupted connectivity, successful bookings, successful refunds, or entry into any country. To the fullest extent permitted by law, paxID is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, lost profits, lost opportunity, travel disruption, border decisions, airline performance, provider outages, or your failure to meet travel requirements. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Changes to paxID and these terms

We may update paxID, change providers, add or remove features, adjust country coverage, change prices, or update these terms. We will give notice of material changes where required by law or where the change materially affects a paid product you are using.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Delaware have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
